This training, led by Carlie Deadman, LPC-S, explores imposter syndrome, a common yet often overlooked challenge faced by mental health professionals, marked by persistent self-doubt and fear of being exposed as a fraud despite clear evidence of competence. This engaging and interactive course is designed to help mental health professionals identify and overcome imposter syndrome, both in their own lives and in their work with clients. Through evidence-based strategies, practical tools, and reflective exercises, participants will learn to normalize imposter syndrome, reframe negative self-talk, and transform self-doubt into motivation for growth. The training also explores the importance of connecting with one’s deeper purpose and provides actionable steps to build confidence and resilience. By the end of this course, participants will feel more equipped to tackle self-doubt, support their clients in doing the same, and foster a culture of authenticity and growth in their professional practice.
