12 HR Clinical Supervision Training, Arizona
Training Description:Â
This 12-hour training, led by Carlie Deadman, LPC-S, equips licensed behavioral health professionals with the skills to become effective clinical supervisors in compliance with Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners (AZBBHE) standards. Participants will explore the legal, ethical, and practical responsibilities of supervision, including AZBBHE rules, Arizona statutes, and best practices. Through interactive modules, the course provides tools to address complex supervisory challenges, enhance supervisee growth, and uphold ethical standards. Participants will develop proficiency in supervision agreements, progress monitoring, risk management, and cultural competence. Case studies and reflective exercises help apply these principles in real-world supervision.

Eligibility and Requirements:Â
This 12-hour Clinical Supervision Training is designed for behavioral health professionals seeking education in clinical supervision and may be used toward meeting the educational requirements outlined in A.A.C. R4-6-214, as applicable. The Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners regulates qualifications to provide clinical supervision, including licensure status, training requirements, and completion of the Board’s Clinical Supervision Tutorial on Arizona Statutes and Regulations. Participation in this training does not, by itself, qualify an individual to provide clinical supervision or ensure eligibility for inclusion on the Board’s Registry of Clinical Supervisors. Attendees are responsible for reviewing A.A.C. R4-6-212, R4-6-213, and R4-6-214 and verifying that they meet all licensure, training, and regulatory requirements established by the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners or their applicable licensing authority. This program is open to licensed behavioral health professionals as well as graduate students, interns, and associates practicing under appropriate supervision. It is the participant’s responsibility to confirm continuing education eligibility and applicability toward supervision qualification.
