Training Description:
The ON-DEMAND Crisis & Risk: Safe Clinical Practice training, led by Carlie Deadman, LPC-S, equips mental health professionals with practical strategies for safe, ethical, and effective clinical practice. Participants will learn to conduct risk assessments for suicide, self-harm, and violence, develop crisis intervention plans, and uphold HIPAA compliance and ethical boundaries. The course also covers confidentiality, documentation, monitoring techniques, and therapeutic boundaries to navigate high-risk situations with confidence. Learning Objectives:
By the end of this training, participants will be able to:
- Participants will learn how to conduct effective risk assessments for suicide, self-harm, and violence, utilizing structured tools to evaluate risk levels and implement appropriate interventions that prioritize client safety.
- Participants will learn how to design and implement crisis intervention plans that incorporate safety strategies and are tailored to individual client needs, ensuring responsive support during high-risk situations.
